Spanish car maker is presenting a new special edition version of its Mii city car, a cheaper version of Volkswagen up! with SEAT styling, designed in partnership with fashion brand MANGO. The outcome of this all-Spanish effort will make its debut at 080 Barcelona Fashion event next week.
As for what make this SEAT Mii by MANGO special, starting with the outside you get two exterior paint options, one of the called Nude! The other, less embarrassing one is Deep Black. The car also features side mouldings, dark grey 15-inch alloy wheels, heated electric door mirrors, and the “Mii by MANGO” lettering on the left side of the rear hatch and the B-pillar.
Inside the cabin, the MANGO treatment has lifted the Mii up and gave it a much nicer interior than the standard car. You get grey accenting, leather steering wheel and gear knob, Alcantara upholstery with Nude trim and the lettering “Mii by MANGO” stitched onto the headrests. Posh floor mats, door sills and key fob are also included, as well as a hook for your handbag and a mirror on the driver sun visor. The last two parts should tell you what type of customers this car is targeted as – I mean if you had any doubts about it before.
SEAT Mii by MANGO – at least in UK-spec trim – is fully loaded, featuring ESC, ABS, front and side airbags for both driver and passenger, head-thorax airbags, passenger airbag deactivation, ISOFIX anchoring points with Top Tether on both rear seats, air conditioning, the SEAT Portable System Live, hill hold control, remote controlled central locking, a 12V socket in the centre console, and front power windows.
