The first official pictures of the new Ford Focus have made their way to the web ahead of the car’s planned Geneva Debut. They show a rather thorough facelift that gives the Focus a Mondeo/Fusion-like front-end. This is a very welcome change.
Ford Focus Facelift benefits from a revised front bumper with exquisite chrome accents, complemented with a hexagonal front-grille and new headlights. The car now looks closer to Ford’s corporate look, but some may argue that it also looks like a Fiesta on steroids.
The rear-end design has not changed, but the taillights do get new graphics which is enough to freshen things up a bit. New design for wheels is another highlight of the new Focus, along with a new blue color for the instruments.
As is the case with mid-life upgrades, the 2014 Ford Focus Facelift will probably benefit from tweaked engines and revised chassis as well. A couple of technological upgrades such as new connectivity features will also be included. Stay tuned for the official details of the car.
