Jaguar continues with their efforts to attract as many celebrities as they can to the brand by adding flamboyant football manager José Mourinho to the list of their high-profile ambassadors. Mourinho will also be the first person in the UK to take delivery of the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe.
As part of his ambassadorial duties, Jose Mourinho will join Jaguar Land Rover UK Managing Director and Jaguar Design Director at the official UK launch event for new F-TYPE Coupé in London on 13 February. The event will open with an exclusive screening of ‘Rendezvous’ advert, directed by Oscar-winner Tom Hooper and starring Sir Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong.
Being an ambassador for a high-end car maker suits Jose Mourinho, as the man is quite a car nut. He has teamed up with Mansory and Raff House to create his very own Mourinho super car.
Jaguar F-Type Coupe launches in normal and S guises, powered by 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engines in 380PS/460Nm and 340PS/450Nm forms respectively, giving 0-60mph in 4.8/5.1-seconds and top speeds of 171/161mph. There is also a range-topping R version with a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine, delivering 550PS/680Nm, acceleration to 60mph in 4.0-seconds, and a top speed of 186mph (electronically limited).
