The new Lexus RC Coupe has been enjoying quite good press since its introduction, which culminated with the Top Gear boys saying, on TV, that they quite like it. So it is only fitting the Japanese car maker plans an elaborate debut ceremony for the RC family at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

There are four members of the Lexus RC family coming to Geneva, including the RC 350 Coupe, the Coupe with F Sport package, the V8-powered RC F, and the RC GT3 racing car which made its first appearance in Tokyo earlier this year.

The highlight of the lineup, of course, is the Lexus RC F, which is a rival for the new BMW M4. The car boasts an LFA-like styling, plus a 5.0 liter V8 with 450bhp and more than 520Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a newly calibrated eight-speed transmission with Torque Vectoring Differential. What this means in simple, plain English is exceptional handling and exhilarating performance.

The F Sport kit for the RC is also something we’re looking forward to. Lexus’ F Sport treatments have always been good, adding sporting exterior and interior design elements as well as revised dynamic. The RC range will be joined by other Lexus models at the Geneva show, including the RX 450h F Sport, CT 200h F Sport, IS 300h F Sport, CT 200h and GS 300h.
