Every now and again Suzuki releases a new special edition of its Swift hatchback in the UK market to make sure their most popular model stays nice and fresh. The Swift has a successful formula and Suzuki, understandably, is reluctant to change it. They just tweak it.
The latest special edition Swift is a new SZ-L model, featuring lots of new goodies. Visual upgrades include the addition of 2-tone metallic paintwork as standard; in either Boost Blue or Cosmic Black body colours with contrasting Cool White roof, rear spoiler and door mirrors. Inside, the only notable change is the addition of silver stitching to the steering wheel, gear gaiter and seats.
As always, it is in terms of equipment and features that the special edition treatment really shines. Suzuki Swift SZ-L comes as standard with seven airbags, ESP, air conditioning, USB port and, LED daytime running lights and cruise control.
Limited to 500 units and starting from £10,899 for three door models and £11,316 for five door models, the Suzuki Swift SZ-L is powered by a 1.2-litre Dual VVT 94PS engine with CO2 rating of 116 g/km.
