Toyota announced the addition of a new SE Limited Edition to the Camry Hybrid lineup in the American market. Available for the 2014.5 modelyear, this limited edition series of 5,000 Camrys come with new visual features, and of course, more equipment, boosting the appeal of the fuel-efficient sedan.
The 2014.5 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE Limited features a sportier look than the normal models, what with the SE front fascia, headlights, side rockers, rear valance, rear bumper, rear spoiler, and 17-inch wheels with low profile tires.
In terms of extra equipment, the car is based on the XLE model, and adds four-spoke, leather-trimmed, steering wheel, silver interior trim, instrument panel, center stack trim, and front and rear seats. It would have been easier if they took the Camry SE and out the hybrid powertrain in it.
Speaking of the hybrid powertrain, the system consists of a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine and an electric motor with nickel metal hydride battery. Total output is healthy 200hp, and average fuel consumption Is around 40 mpg.
Toyota Camry Hybrid SE Limited is priced from $27,845. You can spec up the car further with an upgrade package ($2215) that includes a moonroof and Display Audio with Navigation and Entune Apps Suite.
