Rolls-Royce today revealed a new and refreshed version of the Ghost sedan at the Geneva Motor Show. Per tradition, the new Roller is distinguished by ‘Series II’ moniker, and comes with revised styling and new features to reinforce its position as the most popular car in the €200,000+ class.
The easiest way to the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II apart from the previous version is by the virtue of its LED headlights encircled by daytime running lights. The car also features revised intakes with new chrome detailing, but only hard-core Roller aficionado will notice that.
Inside the cabin, the Series II Ghost benefits from the latest connectivity and entertainment systems, such as on-board Wi-Fi, Satellite Aided Transmission (SAT), and a bespoke audio system. Talking about the design and materials is pointless, seeing as over 80 percent of the cars leaving Rolls-Royce factory are bespoke to the individuals who ordered them.
The mechanicals of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II remains unchanged, meaning you still get a BMW V12 engine with close to 600 horsepower, fitted to a BMW chassis, and riding on a more supple version of BMW suspension. So yes, just about the only new thing on the Rolls Royce Ghost Series II is the design of the headlights!
