The new Jaguar F-Type R Coupe is one of the most exciting cars of 2014 and we’re going to hear about it a lot. We’ve already learnt that the car is an absolute jewel on the road, and that it can hold its own on the race track as well.  But what about the immaturity factor? Is it silly enough to be fun? Will it make you grin like a nutter?

Going sideways and generating a biblical amount of smoke was the F-Type Roadster’s forte. But as it turns out, the F-Type R Coupe is even better. After all, it has 60 more horsepower than the F-Type V8S. It also looks much better doing that, as Evo’s Jethro Bovingdon finds out in this video:
