Chrysler officially confirmed the debut of the new and substantially revised 2015 Dodge Challenger and Charger models at the upcoming New York Auto Show. The teaser picture they released is a bit confusing though, as it implies there is a new Super Bee coming. But that bee is in fact a sign of the massive “buzz” you will get from the new muscle cars!
Not much info has been revealed on the specs and details of the 2015 Dodge Challenger and Charger, but the changes are apparently quite deep. The new Charger, for example, is said to have received a full-body makeover with nearly every single body panel being resculpted. It apparently looks sleeker and more modern than the outgoing version.
As for the Challenger, Chrysler says the revised version remains loyal to the styling cues of the original muscle car, but gets improved interior and an exciting new powertrain combination. It is probably a supercharged 6.2 liter HEMI V8, which is said to be more powerful than SRT Viper’s V10 engine, developing over 640 horsepower.
2015 Dodge Challenger and Charger will be unveiled Thursday, April 17 at the New York Auto Show.
