Fiat announced a major upgrade for the 500 lineup for 2015, including interior enhancements and new exterior colors, plus an automatic transmission option for the Abarth 500 and 500 Turbo. The new interior features are available across the range.
The highlight of the 2015 Fiat 500 interior is the addition of a new 7-inch TFT cluster that delivers vital information such as speed, fuel level, Eco index and trip information to the driver in an innovative and cool way.
While on the main screen, an image of the vehicle is surrounded by information, including distance traveled, gas mileage and range, and when parking, the image shows the position of the car. Other screen options include a radio screen that displays information about the station selected and a telephone screen showing call information.
Engaging the Sport mode will make the display more aggressive in appearance. This system will be standard on the 2015 Fiat 500 Sport, Lounge, Turbo and Abarth models, and optional on the Pop.
2015 Fiat 500 also features a redesigned center console featuring a new cup holder design and an additional, conveniently located USB port, complementing the Bluetooth audio streaming and phone connectivity systems.
No exterior modification is planned for the 2015 Fiat 500, but it does get new colors, including Giallo Moderna Perla (modern pearl yellow), Laser Blu (bright metallic blue) and Billet Argento (billet silver).
