British luxury car maker Rolls-Royce has teamed up with a British Formula One world champion to represent the brand throughout the 2014 season. Jenson Button will be driving RR’s finest creations for ten of this year’s Grands Prix when he is off the track.

An F1 weekend is basically a big promotional opportunity, as TV cameras are rolling almost non-stop. By putting a prominent figure like Button in their cars, Rolls-Royce will be getting lots of free publicity. Those cameras are not going to miss a world champion arriving at the track in a shiny new Roller.

Jenson Button said, “I am absolutely delighted to be accompanied by the very best in British luxury as I travel the world this year. I especially look forward to driving Wraith, a fantastic addition to the Rolls-Royce fleet and quite simply a stunning car to look at and drive.”

Button will switch between the Wraith, Phantom Drophead Coupé and Ghost in the following GPs:

Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix, 28-30 March
Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, 4-6 April
Formula 1 UBS Chinese Grand Prix, 18-20 April
