It could be just an experiment, but Lexus has launched a special edition version of its LX 570 SUV in Kuwait equipped with a supercharger system. The high-performance SUV also comes with all the available options fitted as standard.
So you get Xenon headlights, LED lights, power tailgate, parking sensors, navigation system, leather upholstery, wood trimming, heated and cooled seats, and a top-notch Mark Levinson sound system. There is also a set of 20-inch wheels that make it easier to tell the Lexus LX 570 Supercharger apart from normal models.
As for the power and performance, the compressor fitted to the 570’s 5.7 liter V8 pushes its output to 450 horsepower. The transmission is the same old 6-speed automatic. Performance numbers for Lexus LX 570 Supercharger have not been revealed yet, but we know that there is a 500 horsepower version by Hennessey Performance that does 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds.
Currently, Lexus LX 570 Supercharger is only available to Kuwait, but it will probably reach other Gulf markets as well.
