Dodge released the official pricing and performance numbers of Scat Pack performance stage kits from Mopar for 2014 Challenger and Charger. Priced from $2,195, the Scat Pack kit fits onto the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine and boosts its output by up to 58 horsepower.
The package comes in Scat Pack 1, Scat Pack 2 and Scat Pack 3 performance stage kits, and at its peak, it also delivers an additional 47 lb.-ft. of torque. These performance figures belong to the Stage 3 kit which costs $4,995.
Stage 2 is good for 30 horsepower and costs $2,195, and Stage 1, although it only gives an extra 18 horsepower, is more expensive at $2,195. That’s because Stage 1 includes Mopar cold-air intake to provide increased air-flow into the engine, Mopar cat-back exhaust to free up downstream airflow, and an all-new performance calibrated engine controller. Stage 2 only includes a camshaft kit, consisting of camshaft, tiebars, heavy-duty pushrods and gaskets.
Stage 3 also adds a new Mopar performance CNC-ported cylinder heads and Mopar hi-flow headers and catalysts. Each models also gets it sown exclusive badging.
