American boutique carmaker Rezvani Motors finally unveiled their new sports car called the Beast. It is a track toy based on the British Ariel Atom, and according to its makers “gives new meaning to the lightweight, high-performance sports car.” Rezvani Beast comes in two 300 and 500 models.
Rezvani Beast 500 is powered by a 2.4-liter supercharged mid-mounted engine with 500 horsepower, while the 300 version gets a 2.0 liter turbo unit that generates 315 horsepower. The former weighs 1,550 lb and has a 0 to 60 time of 2.7 seconds, while the latter tips the scale at 1,470 lbs and does the 0-60 thing in 2.9 seconds.
Both powertrains are prepared by DDM Works of South Carolina and feature upgraded pistons, forged H beam rods, ARP studs, and optional clutch upgrades. They both come with a six-speed manual gearbox and are connected to a limited-slip differential.
Visually, Rezvani Beast is nothing as artistic as the Ariel Atom, looks quite good nonetheless. The name Beast is apt. It comes with a fully removable windshield, a roll cage, and a set of RS05 PUR wheels wrapped in front 235/35/19 and rear 295/30/19 tires.
As for the pricing, The Launch Edition versions of the 300 and 500 will star from $99,500 and $124,900 respectively. Normal models that will come after these will cost from $119,000 and $139,000. Current Atom owners can order the Beast as an upgrade package, costing $49,000 for the 300 and $69,000 for 500.
