Bentley dropped today a new teaser for their upcoming SUV. The video showcases parts of the car’s silhouette, and confirms the Continental-like front-end that was expected to be used for the Bentley SUV.

They are obviously playing it safe this time, but this one looks a whole lot better than that godawful EXP 9 Concept they presented a few years ago.

The British car maker also confirms the production date for the new Bentley SUV which is 2016. It will be offered with a range of engines including W12 and V8 motors, and a plug-in hybrid powertrain that will be offered in 2017. The SUV will be world’s most powerful and luxurious SUV, according to Bentley, and sets new standard bespoke craftsmanship and performance.

They didn’t say anything about off-road capabilities, which is frankly the whole point of a sport utility vehicle. But that’s cool, because nobody will offroad a Bentley anyway, even if it has such capability.
