The Dodge Challenger Shootingbrake rendered here is based on the 205 model which brought us the awe-inspiring SRT Hellcat version with 600-plus horsepower and pretty awesome looks. It tries to turn the iconic muscle car into something more practical by giving it a big boot.

Now, cars like the Mercedes CLS Shootingbrake have shown us that this body style can be extremely elegant. But for them to be elegant, the car you start with must have that quality about it. The Challenger is a muscle car. It is a lot of things – macho, athletic, aggressive, cool. But it’s not elegant.

Still, this Dodge Challenger Shootingbrake makes us think that maybe a Fastback version of the car might not be a bad idea after all.
