Before they become a part of TATA Motors and become a serious player in the luxury segment again, Jaguar used to make a lot of concept cars. They were all amazing machines and they all had one thing in common: they remained a concept. Jaguar never made any of them. One of these awesome concepts is now up for grabs.
It is the Jaguar BlackJag Concept from 2004 Geneva Motor Show, and it is offered by a private seller from Germany for the staggering sum of €2.8 Million. For that you get a one of a kind design created by Fuore design house, a massive engine, and a whole lot of exclusivity.
Jaguar BlackJag Concept is powered by a 7.0 liter 10-cylinder engine developing 640 horsepower. So performance-wise, the car is on the par with the best of today’s sports cars. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of nearly 340.
So the BlackJag is kind of worth the asking price, what with it being a piece of automotive history. Not sure if you can actually register and use it on the road, but it will make a cool museum piece.
