Rolls-Royce is celebrating this year the 110th anniversary of the company’s establishment, or to be more precise, the 110th anniversary of Charles Rolls and Henry Royce meeting which led to the establishment of the brand. RR calls the occasion “110 years of excellenc” and marked it with a couple of elegant parties in Goodwood and Manchester.
The first one took place at the Goodwood Motor Circuit where three contemporary Rolls-Royce motor cars – Wraith, Phantom Coupé and Ghost – joined the ‘Supercar Sunday’ Breakfast Club meeting with 1000 cars on display inside the circuit and more than 14,000 visitors. Goodwood circuit is only a stone’s throw from the company’s Head Office and Manufacturing Plant.
The next anniversary party was held by Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club in Manchester. In this exclusive event more than 30 heritage Rolls-Royces were on display outside the Midland Hotel. The company was represented by a 2014 Rolls-Royce Phantom.
