As it turns out, Radio DJ Chris Evans is the owner of the first Ferrari LaFerrari in the UK, and he is already putting it to good use. Chris brought his LaFerrari to the Top Gear test track at Dunsfold to support a supercar event that raises money for The Children Trust, a charity for children with brain injury.
Chris Evans sold five supercar rides in his LaFerrari, raising £5,000 for the charity in just a few minutes. In doing so he also allowed the spectators to enjoy the sight and sound of his amazing Ferrari.
Evans is a huge Ferrari fan and has what’s possibly the biggest and most expensive Ferrari collection in the country. Just two of his classic Ferraris, a GTO and a California, are worth in excess of £20 million. Despite this he doesn’t lock his cars away. Every once in a while he organizes charity events and let people see and even drive his cars.
