A few days ago a couple of grainy images revealed the latest one-off Ferrari model called the F12 TRS. As we expected, it didn’t take long for more pictures of the car to surface. This thing is just too important to remain under cover.
Ferrari F12 TRS is shown here somewhere in Italy in the company of a few more Ferraris. The car’s official debut is apparently set for this year’s Ferrari Cavalcade driving tour, which will start in Sicily this weekend.
What we currently know about the Ferrari F12 TRS is that the car is a $4.2 million coachbuilt F12 ordered by an anonymous customer who evidently wanted an open-to version of the 740-hp super car. Besides featuring a targa roof, Ferrari F12 TRS is said to have a special KERS system developed for tis V12 engine, so for all we know it could have as much power as a LaFerrari, which is 960 horsepower.
That is probably the case, because a few modified body panels and a cool targa roof do not justify that mahoosive price tag. We shall find out all about this car soon enough.
