It doesn’t take very long for fast new super cars to fall victim to their drivers’ lack of skill and experience. McLarens, though, usually last longer, as they are easy to drive and are loaded with electronic safety systems. Those systems didn’t help this particular McLaren 650S though, which was recently totaled in Singapore.

This car is the first totaled McLaren 650S in the world and will probably hold on for a long time to the record for being the most severely damaged as well. The details of what exactly happened to it are sketchy, but judging by the state of the car, it must have lost control, spun and hit the guardrails repeatedly.

The totaled McLaren 650S repottedly belonged to the dealership and was out on a customer test drive when this happened. Every single body panel on this car appears to be damaged in the accident apart from the engine compartment, which is largely intact. Fixing the body seems like a tall order, as they have to basically rebuild it. And let’s be honest, the 650S is not the kind of car you scrap for parts!
