Dodge Charger Hellcat Set for Halloween Debut?

at Dodge Charger Hellcat Set for Halloween Debut?

The launch of the Challenger SRT Hellcat was an “all in” move by Dodge to make up for their lost credibility after SRT brand went belly up. And it kind of paid off. After all, it’s hard to argue with 707 horsepower. Now, apparently, they want to give the same treatment to the Charger sedan.

After studying and analyzing Chrysler Group’s five-year production plans, the guys from Auto Guide have arrived at the conclusion that Dodge Charger Hellcat should be released this fall, probably on Halloween!

That is of course pure speculation, but it would be awesome if Dodge released a 700+ horsepower Charger on Halloween, maybe with a menacing matte black paint job and smoked lights. This is what cars like this are all about anyway. They are big boy’s toys.

Dodge’s production plan calls for the launch of a Charger powered by a supercharged V8, and it really doesn’t make sense for it to be anything else other than the Hellcat engine. The coolest thing about a Dodge Charger Hellcat is that it makes Dodge the maker of the world’s most powerful production sedan.
