British Ferrari collector John Hunt is one of the 499 people who ordered a LaFerrari. Yesterday he paid a brief visit to Ferrari factory in Maranello to collect his LaFerrari, a plain red one. The way he arrived at the Ferrari HQ, though, was one for the books!
Mr. Hunt organized an epic Ferrari road trip from London to Modena with his children and couple of friends driving his most prized possessions: a GTO, an F40, an F50 and an Enzo. Before getting behind the wheel of his new LaFerrari for the drive back to the UK, Hunt had his Ferraris parked in front of Enzo Ferrari’s iconic house to pay tribute to the big boss.
“Ferraris are the ultimate sports cars as far as I’m concerned,” Hunt told Ferrari.com. “I love driving them all, each one is different. I’ve clocked up over 16,000 km in the Enzo alone, for example.” He continued: “I was completely blown away after just 5’ behind the wheel. I can’t wait to get to know it inside out but I can already safely say that the LaFerrari is a spectacular car.”
