A while ago the guys from X-Tomi Design rendered a coupe version of the 2015 Dodge Charger. It attracted a lot of attention because it looked great and also made a lot of sense. Now they have come up with a convertible version based on the newer Hellcat version, pondering new possibilities for the American sedan.
If we’re honest this Dodge Charger Hellcat Convertible is not as likeable as the coupe version, even though they are fairly similar, save the roof. Maybe it’s the Hellcat treatment with that large mouth and extended sills that make this car look a bit ungainly. In any case, such a thing has no chance of production whatsoever.
The idea of a 707 horsepower four-seater convertible that can reach 204 mph is highly enticing, but it also presents the ponderer with a whole host of challenges and questions. But since it’s not going to happen, we can just relax and enjoy looking at this rendering which is executed flawlessly. X-Tomi sure knows his way around Photoshop!
