A couple of months ahead of its official debut at the Paris Motor Show, the new Subaru Vitara shows its face in an official image. Vitara is a name with significant importance for Subaru, so the new car has some big shoes to fill.
We should make it clear that doesn’t mean Suzuki Vitara is in any way exciting or cool. The car’s importance is due to its age and the fact that it is one of the best-selling models the Japanese car maker has ever built.
The 2015 Suzuki Vitara is based on the iV-4 concept and while it looks more interesting than the current generation, it is still no cracker in terms of styling. Technology-wise, the car will be able to hold its own against the very best of this class, what with features like optional ALLGRIP intelligent four wheel drive?, petrol and diesel engines that offer low CO2 emissions, and various colour and trim customisation options.
