Next to the one-off P1 MSO, McLaren’s stand at this year’s Pebble Beach concourse will feature a MSO 650S Spider, designed in collaboration with McLaren Newport Beach and McLaren Automotive Design Director Frank Stephenson. This car is the Spider version of the MSO 650S hardtop revealed last month.
One of only 50 examples featuring bespoke interior and exterior appointments, the McLaren MSO 650S Spider come with a unique Cerulean Blue paint finish which is said to have a deep gloss shine under the Californian sun.
The paint job is complemented with satin carbon fibre detailing, which is a signature feature of 650 MSO models and includes the front bumper, side air intakes, center section of the rear bumper and large MSO rear diffuser, and chrome exhaust finishers.
Inside McLaren MSO 650S Spider you find carbon black leather upholstery with contrasting blue stitching which covers the seats and also the steering wheel, dash and doors. Other unique features include McLaren speedmark embroidered in to the headrests and a dedication plaque, signed by Frank Stephenson, presented with a luxury McLaren Special Operations leather holdall, handcrafted from carbon fibre leather and complemented by dark chrome metal finishers.
