The four-door coupe niche is stronger than ever these days with almost all car makers having at least one contender in this segment. It has become so crowded even the founder of this class, Mercedes CLS, is finding it hard to keep up. Here’s what a Bentley four-door coupe may look like, should they decide to make one.

This car is the brainchild of Remco Meulendijk of RM Design who, by the looks of things, has used a BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe as the template and mixed it up with styling features from Bentley Continental GT and the Flying Spur. So it’s an amalgam of a few different cars, but it does look rather good.

Granted, the front end is typical Bentley and therefore not very attractive. But from the back this Bentley four-door coupe looks quite good. It’s sporty and majestic at the same time. Of course, it could be the sexy hips of the Gran Coupe we are seeing, accentuated by that elegant waistline, giving the side view of the car a pleasant twist.

The idea of a four-door coupe Bentley is not that far off from reality. The company is expanding its lineup with new models including a crossover. So it does actually have a chance. This body with Bentley’s V8 engine would make a pretty interesting mix.
