The Batmobile has always been kind of a big deal for car enthusiasts, not just because it’s a famous movie car, but also because they are usually great engineering marvels. Now there is a new one around, designed for the upcoming ‘Batman vs Superman’ movie and it is, to all intents and purposes, quite bitchin’!
Our first proper look at this machine comes from director Zack Snyder who has now released an official picture of the new Batmobile to complement the teasers he’d shown us before, revealing the car’s front-end and showcasing its main gun. We also have some leaked photos, apparently taken on the set, showing the Batmobile with its doors open.
Looks like the latest Batmobile has traded sheer size for a more aerodynamic design. Batman fans will still be able recognize their favorite features from previous versions in the new model, but on the whole, the car looks pretty fresh and sufficiently awesome. Can’t wait to see it in action.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released in the U.S. on March 25, 2016 and in 3D format. Ben Affleck plays the role of Batman in the new movie.
