As you may remember, a few weeks ago Lexus announced a new partnership with hiphop artist and entrepreneur Will.i.am, the lead singer of The Black Eyed Peas. As part of this partnership, Will.i.am, who is very fond of designing his own cars, got to customize and modify an NX.

The Lexus NX by Will.i.am is now ready and it was unveiled during a private party in Paris last night. Based on a NX 200t F Sport, Will’s Lexus features a wide body kit and brushed aluminium and carbon vinyl, plus the singer’s signature monochrome, matt pearl white paintwork and a black-tinted panoramic glass roof.

The car also gets a set of custom 22-inch wheels and a lavish interior featuring modified seats upholstered in soft Nappa leather and hand-embroidered with his willpower logo, and brushed aluminium floor mats.

The biggest highlight of Lexus NX by Will.i.am is its technology features. The car is equipped with four 180° cameras which can capture panoramic photographs and video while driving and show them on the passengers’ smartphones. It also has Wireless Charging Tray, which is actually a Lexus standard feature, and a 10-speaker Pioneer Surround Sound system.

Talking about his special version of the NX, will.i.am said: “When I found out Lexus wanted me to be involved in the Striking Angles campaign, my first thought was, can I design a car with you? I am honoured to be launching my bespoke Lexus NX F Sport in Paris, this car is super fresh and incorporates my personal style. My point of view is, the best kind of design will encourage other people to interpret that design.”
