In the world’s single largest order of Rolls-Royce cars ever, the owner of Louis XIII hotel in Macau placed an order for 30 Bespoke Rolls-Royce Extended Wheelbase Phantoms. The stress here is on ‘Bespoke,’ which means these cars are all personalized and therefore quite a bit more expensive than normal models.
It’s no wonder then Rolls-Royce hosted a signing ceremony at their headquarters in Goodwood, Essex. This deal alone can carry the company financially for years. The ceremony was attended by Rolls-Royce CEO, Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes, Louis XIII Chairman, Stephen Hung, the Board of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Louis XIII executives and a representative from Graff Diamonds.
The company’s Bespoke department has its work cut out then making these cars, each featuring exclusive interior and exterior appointments. From these 30 Bespoke Rolls-Royce Phantoms, two will be additionally equipped with gold-plated accents inside and out. All will get bespoke clocks designed and created by Graff Luxury Watches.
“Macau is rapidly evolving into the luxury capital of the world and we are honoured to have the opportunity to add to Macau’s many distinctions, the world’s largest fleet of Rolls-Royce Phantoms, including the two most luxurious vehicles Rolls-Royce has ever built. Louis XIII and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars share the same philosophy: to deliver the perfect experience to the world’s most discerning customers,” said Louis XIII Chairman, Stephen Hung.
