To showcase their special KV1 wheels, German tuner mbDESIGN has come up with a custom treatment for the Porsche Boxster 981 sports car. The wheels are the main highlight of this program, but the styling package has turned out pretty good as well.

The rims on mbDESIGN Porsche Boxster are 20-inch KV1 models measuring 9.0×20 concave with 235/35R20 Pirelli P-Zero tires on the front axle, and 10.5×20 stark concave with 265/35R20 tires on the rear. The finish is a cool and crisp matte grey. The cost of these wheels is 2,799 Euros for a set of four.

In terms of styling, this Boxster benefits from sports bumpers with extended skirts and GTS clear light lenses, garnished with custom graphics package consisting of red and grey stripes, and a pair of white rollbars.

mbD has not mentioned any performance upgrades, but the standard Porsche Boxster comes in two standard and S guises. The former has a 2.7-litre boxer engine with 265 hp and the latter 3.4-litre boxer engine with 315 hp. There is also a GTS version with 330 horsepower.
