At the recently finished Paris Motor Show Bentley revealed a new Speed version of the Mulsanne luxury saloon which tends to a more of a driver’s car than something to be chauffeured in. That makes you think, is there other variants of the Mulsanne in the works, a convertible maybe?

Sources with access to inside information say no, but that didn’t stop independent designer X-Tomi to go ahead and pen a Bentley Mulsanne Speed Convertible, just to show us what it would look like.

Sure, many of you would argue that this car doesn’t make sense, seeing as Bentley already has a four-seater convertible, the Continental Cabrio. That’s true, but slightly older Bentley aficionados see this car and immediately think Arnage Convertible.

Bentley Mulsanne Speed Convertible could be the perfect successor to the Arnage Convertible, because just like that car it is big, formidable, rather pointless, and absolutely amazing. Granted it doesn’t have the Arnage’s cool name or chiseled looks, but it’s a helluva lot more masculine than the Continental Convertible which is a favorite among footballers and their wives.
