A prominent businessman in America is selling his virtually new McLaren P1 and he is asking for $2.3 Million for it. That is about one million more than what a P1 cost at the factory when it was still available, which it isn’t anymore.
Still, one mil is a huge premium to pay for what is, basically, a second hand P1. That said, this yellow P1 has covered only 325 miles since new, and what’s more, it is fitted with a set of high-end Giovanna GFG Forged measuring 20-inch in diameter up front and 21-inch out back.
So the owner basically bought this car from McLaren, drove it a few times around the block, put a nice set of wheels on it, and put it on sale. That means the guy ordered this P1 for no other reason than to make money.
That is fair enough, but it means the businessman has denied a real, wealthy, driving enthusiast who appreciates how good a car the P1 is the chance to buy it. Well, when we say denied what we really mean is make him pay an extra million dollars for it, which really amounts to the same thing.
