McLaren Special Operations is apparently in the process of making a new limited edition version of the 650S inspired by the legendary F1 GTR race car. This super special McLaren 650S MSO is designed to mark the 20th anniversary of McLaren F1 GTR victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The 2015 McLaren 650S MSO limited edition comes with unique styling cues borrowed from the race-winning chassis #01R F1 GTR, including a roof scoop and louvered fender vents. The car also features visible carbon fiber front splitter, side mirrors, side vents, and air brake/rear spoiler.
Other notable features include F1-inspired retro wheels by MSO with orange brake calipers behind them, MSO rear bumper and diffuser in visible carbon, interior carbon fiber pack as standard, Alcantara steering wheel, branded floor mats, and McLaren orange seats in Alcantara.
Limited to 50 units worldwide, this tributary McLaren 650S MSO has the same engine and mechanical features as the standard 650S, meaning you get a 650 horsepower engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, computer controlled suspension with no anti roll bars and a plenty of speed!
