The order books are finally open in the United Kingdom for the new 2015 Ford Mustang; a car that has already generated so much interest, the first 500 – in Europe – were pre-sold in just 30 seconds. In the UK, the Mustang starts from £28,995.

You can order the new Ford Mustang in Britain as fastback or convertible, with a 314PS 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine or a 418PS 5.0-litre V8 engine, and six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Ford recommends you use the online configurator before you visit the shop, as it is pretty comprehensive and will save both you and the sales people a lot of time.

Standard features on the 2015 Ford Mustang include 19-inch wheels, a performance brake package, automatic HID xenon headlamps, LED tail lamps, and a rear diffuser. Further standard equipment includes dual-zone climate control, a nine-speaker sound system, and SYNC 2 voice control connectivity with an eight-inch colour touch screen. Fancy colors and wheels are available as optional extras.

The first deliveries of the new Ford Mustang are expected to arrive in the UK in autumn. So if you want one right now, importing one yourself is probably going to be worth the extra cost.
