In order to make the new Aygo city car more fun, Toyota cut a hole in its roof and created the X-Wave model. It’s a targa version of the standard model with a retractable x-wave canvas roof, allowing for a bit of wind-in hair motoring on a budget.

Toyota Aygo X-Wave uses pretty much the same roof arrangement as the Fiat 500C, but in the Aygo the roof doesn’t fold all the way back. It’s more like a giant sunroof which can also be ordered as an standalone option for £895.

To make the Toyota Aygo X-Wave more unique, they have also given it 15-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, the x-touch multimedia system with DAB and Bluetooth, reversing camera and air conditioning. What’s more, yo have the choice of White Flash, Electro Grey, Silver Splash, Red Pop and Deep Blue Buzz paint options combined with gloss black detailing.
