Geneva 2015: Lexus LF-SA Concept

Lexus LF SA Concept 0 600x347 at Geneva 2015: Lexus LF SA Concept

We have already had a pretty good look at the Lexus LF-SA Concept in these leaked images. But now we have the official stuff straight from Geneva, and we have to say, that grille still looks way too big. We thought it might get better with time, but …

Anyhow, there is of course more to Lexus LF-SA Concept than just its enormous grille. This is Lexus’ first real attempt to make a contender for the super mini segment, and they have done a pretty good job downsizing their typical design features for this car.

Lexus says the “LF-SA Concept captures the freedom of weekend escapes in everyday city driving.” They still see the future of personal mobility from behind the wheel, which is funny, since Toyota, their mother company, has a strong conviction it should be autonomous.

If Lexus LF-SA Concept someday finds its way to the production line it will undoubtedly be based on one of Toyota’s compact car platforms such as Yaris or even the Aygo. Do not expect the production version to look as striking as this one though. Nor can you expect the  hologram-style digital display incorporated in the instrument binnacle of the concept model, or its wide-angle head-up display!
