McLaren P1 GTR First Track Test

McLaren P1 GTR 600x394 at McLaren P1 GTR First Track Test

McLaren has not yet shown us much of the new P1 GTR in action, but the guys at Autocar managed to secure some seat time in this beast of a machine and drive it flat out on the race track. This is the first proper McLaren P1 GTR track test ever conducted by a member of the press.

So let join Andrew Frankel and see what he makes of his first drive in this 1000+ horsepower track car. Mind you, there is a lengthy lecture on how the thing works by McLaren chief test drive Chris Goodwin that you have to sit through, but you also always fast forward that bit.
