It seems that Ferrari has already received many orders for the multi-million dollar Ferrari FXX K and the production has begun in earnest. What’s more, it seems some customers have ordered their FXX K through the Tailor Made department with custom paint jobs, liveries, and interiors.

These cars, such as this white Ferrari FXX K you see in this picture, were ordered by people who obviously thought the €2.5 million (nearly $3 million) base price was quite reasonable and so gives them some room to spec the FXX K up a bit.

As a limited edition of just 40, Ferrari FXX K is definitely a good investment because it is never going to be cheaper than this. But looking at it objectively, since it is nothing more than a fine track toy, the price tag might start to eat at you a bit. After all, you can buy two road-going LaFerraris for that money; one for the road and one for the track!

Ferrari FXX K comes with a beefier version of LaFerrari’s V12-KERS powertrain developing 1,050 horsepower. Besides the power, lighter weight, more aggressive electronics, and optimized aerodynamics make the FXX K considerably faster than its road-going sibling.
