The new and rather interesting Ram 1500 Rebel will soon make its off-road debut at the Overland Expo off-road adventure course in Mormon Lake, Arizona. The sporty half-ton truck was launched at NIAIS earlier this year and will hit the market in a couple of months.
The Overland Expo event, which includes three days of camping, workshops, classes and outdoor-product demonstrations, seems like the perfect opportunity for Ram Trucks to showcase the capabilities of the new 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel. The truck is customized specifically for this sort of jobs, boasting factory lift, 33-inch tires, Bilstein shocks, skid plates, and tow hooks, to mention but a few of its off-roady features.
Ram 1500 Rebel also looks the part, what with a blacked-out Rebel grille, off-road front bumper, powder coated, billet silver skid plate, new front tow hooks and new LED fog lamps, black Power Wagon wheel-arch moldings, flat-black badge, mirrors and lower body panels, as well as 17-inch wheels.
Available only as a crew cab model with 5-ft. 7-inch bed length, the Ram 1500 Rebel can be ordered with either a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 (305 horsepower) or a 5.7-liter HEMI (395 horsepower).
