Chinese artist Simon Yin who has a peculiar taste in cars has ordered a multi-million dollar Ferrari FXX K race car which as you can see in these preview pictures is garnished with pink accents. The design itself is pretty cool. But the color, well, it’s wrong.
Of course no car ever in the entire history of cars looked good in pink, or featuring pink details. That is doubly true in the case of serious super cars, let alone a track-only hyper car like the Ferrari FXX K. Then again, we don’t know much about the Chinese culture. Maybe pink is the symbol of manliness and performance over there. Or maybe Yin has bought this car for his wife who has penchant for racing!
Ferrari FXX K is the hottest Prancing Horse you can buy today. As the track-only version of the LaFerrari, the FXX K is lighter and more agile, boasts more power, has a much more aggressive aero kit, and commands a price tag twice as massive as that of its road-going sibling. Just like its main rival, McLaren P1 GTR, the K packs 1,050 horsepower and can only be used during official Ferrari track days.
