It is becoming the norm to see race cars that are meant for the race track pootling around city streets these days. So it comes as no surprise that a Ferrari FXX K was spotted the other day cruising around Maranello. This is, after all, Ferrari city and they can drive a F1 car in it if they want to.
Despite all that, it is still pretty awesome to see a Ferrari FXX K out and about in the city. The car looks twice as cool as the LaFerrari, upon which it is based, thanks to an aggressive aero kit designed, one would imagine looking at it, more for visual effect than aerodynamic efficiency.
Make no mistake though, Ferrari FXX K is a serious performance machine boasting 1,050 horsepower. As soon as Ferrari can make enough of them to form a respectable track day event, the Corse Clienti will set in motion organizing events at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, so customers to have spent around $3 million on this bad boy can get to enjoy its immense turn of speed.
