As you may remember, Ferrari F12 GTO first appeared under the radar a few days ago when a highly evolved F12 test mule was scooped featuring new aero features. It was believed to be a more hard-core version of the Berlinetta with at least 780 horsepower.

That car is now all but confirmed as the first images of the car make their way to the web. The photos have apparently been extracted from a private configurator Ferrari has designed for their special customers so they can spec up the car before it is even introduced. Even though we can’t find a GTO badge on this digital images of the car, what you’re looking at is almost certainly going to be called the Ferrari F12 GTO. A leak of this caliber is rarely wrong.

As for the changes you can expect Ferrari F12 GTO will be boasting over the Berlinetta, first and foremost there is the new look with the unique front bumper, new aero bridges, revised hood, gills in the rear fenders, new rear fascia, LaFerrari-inspired diffuser, and new wheels. The car gets the same V12 engine as the normal F12 but it’s reportedly boosted to close to 800 kg. At the same time the engineers have shaved 100 kg of the F12’s weight.
