The first images what is almost certainly the new Lexus LX has surfaced on the web. The biggest member of Lexus family is apparently getting a more, well, Lexusy face with a more prominent spindle grille and fancy headlights. The new look does kind of suit the LX, given the car’s massive size.
So if you hated the spindle look for Lexus, tough luck! But if you liked it, you will be chuffed to know that it’s here to stay. If anything, with every new model the grille grows bigger and shinier, and the lights become weirder and infused with more LEDs arranged in interesting shapes.
The Lexus LX Facelift, which is most likely set for a 2016 release as a 2017 model, also comes with all-new taillights, again inspired by sedan models, namely the IS. New wheels and more substantial brightwork are also included in the package to give the car the luxury feel it needs to convey in order to distinguish itself from the Toyota Land Cruiser on which it is based.
It certainly does that inside the cabin where everything you see and touch is all Lexus. There is no sign of anything Toyota-esque in here. It’s all fine leather, real wood, and fancy electronics. The cabin is, in our opinion, the biggest strength of the Lexus LX Facelift.
