The new LongTail McLaren 675LT has been kept well under wraps by the British car maker during development, and even now that it’s officially introduced not many of them are seen out in the real world. This orange example is only the second 675LT to be caught in the wild, and by wild we mean Knightsbridge.
McLaren 675LT looks substantially more awesome compared to a normal 650S thanks to its unique body kit. It is not as “long” as its name might suggest, but the new rear spoiler, sporty rear apron with new tailpipes sticking out of it, and the larger front spoiler give the LT a much more aggressive look than the standard model.
We have to admit though, we are not digging this Volcano Orange, or whatever it’s called, for the McLaren 675LT. A few days ago we saw the car on a race track in a white pearl white paint job and that looks amazing. We reckon it would also look great in gunmetal or plain old black.
In terms of performance, McLaren 675LT has the same 3.8-litre V8 bi-turbo engine as the 650 models, but here it makes – you guessed it – 675 horsepower. That enables the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.9 second and reach a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).
