Bentley has been trying really hard to balance their desire to tease us about the new Bentayga SUV and their obligation to keep it under wraps until the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show where the car makes its world debut. Their efforts have been a complete waste though, as pictures of a scale model version of Bentley Bentayga have emerged from China, spilling all the beans. 

Built, most likely, in a Chinese sweat shop by children, Bentley Bentayga scale model is based on the real thing and reflects all the styling details you will soon see on the actual car. Bentley made a big deal of going back to the drawing board and redesigning the SUV after the first concept they released was met with hostile comment. One gets the feeling they decided to play it safe this time. The production Bentayga looks rather boring.

So they took a Flying Spur, jacked it up, and put a tailgate on it, and voila, Bentley Bentayga SUV was born. That design of the car lacks any sort of imagination, and so does it’s powertrain lineup. The SUV will be available with the same 6.0 liter W12 and 4.0 liter V8 as the Continental and Flying Spur models. Based on what we have seen in the teaser though, the Bentayga is both immensely off-road capable and extremely luxurious.
