While we are waiting for Mercedes-Benz to finally spill the beans on the new C63 AMG Coupe and end the irksome teasing campaign, we are having some fun with the standard version of the car. A few days ago we saw the car as a Cabriolet, now let’s check out an imaginary Mercedes C-Class Four-Door Coupe.
I think you would agree that between the standard C-Class Coupe, the Cabrio version, and the C63 AMG, the best looking of the lot is this Mercedes C-Class Four-Door Coupe. Granted, it doesn’t seem awfully practical, what with those small rear windows, and it doesn’t make much commercial sense, not with the CLA and CLS around. But still, it is just a good look.
Theophilus Chin, obviously, has done a great job with this rendering. But the real kudos goes to Mercedes’s own designers who have penned such a discreet, beautiful, and flexible car. They knew this car was going to spawn a whole lot of offsprings, so they designed it in such a way that accepts most body styles with no major argument. Mind you, we have to first see it as a Shooting Brake before we fully stand behind that statement!
