While most car magazines had to go all the way to Silverstone to get to drive the new McLaren 675LT, Sport Auto had enough pull to get one at their own base in Germany, where they subjected the car to a number of punishing tests. Rest assured, the McLaren passed with flying colors.

In this video test driver Christian Gebhardt first does a 0 to top speed test on an empty runway during which the McLaren 675LT reaches 316 km/h without breaking a sweat. He then takes the car to the Nuburgring where it challenges a Porsche 991 GT3 and a 911 RSR race car to a race and beats them both:
