There is no shortage of premium SUVs in today’s market, but if you want something a bit different, Japanese brand Infiniti is the one to consider. They have just announced the MSRP for the new 2016 Infiniti QX50 extended wheelbase models, which starts at $34,450.
The rather handsome SUV not only looks refreshingly different from most other offerings in this segment, it is also one of the roomiest in this price range. The wheelbase has been extended by 3.2 inches and overall length has increased 4.5 inches in the 2016 Infiniti QX50, and it offers .3 cubic feet of additional interior volume compared to the previous model. What’s more, the ride height is increased by 0.8 inches and 19-inch wheels have been fitted, so the car is now more capable off-road as well.
Another highlight of the 2016 Infiniti QX50 EWB that set it apart from the competition is its more than decent level of equipment. As standard, the car comes with a moonroof, heated seats, ntelligent Key with Push Button Ignition, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and rear view camera. There is also a new Hagane Blue exterior color. For $500 you can get the Premium Package which adds a Bose 11-speaker Premium Audio system, advanced Climate Control System, Maple interior accents, and aluminum roof rails.
Powered by a 325-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission, the new QX50 is priced from $34,450 for the rear-wheel and $35,850 for the all-wheel drive model.
