The Spanish are not exactly economic with words, but when they wanted to announced the launch of a new crossover concept at the IAA 2015, SEAT thought one sentence would do! To they go: This is SEAT Leon Cross Sport, it’s dynamic, and aimed at young spirited customers.
You gotta love that. Still, we cannot just leave it at that. We can discuss how the car looks like a Leion Cupra with raised suspension and bi wheels, or how the black bits on the bumpers and around the sills make SEAT Leon Cross Sport looks like a cheap, entry-level model. Or, instead of nitpicking we can tell you how excited we are about the possibility of a handsome three-door crossover getting into production.
Three-door SUVs usually don’t turn out as great as they first look in the sketches. OK, Range Rover Evoque 3-door is an exception. But even that has not been particularly successful, because it is common sense that when you buy a car that large, it should have enough doors to make it easy getting in and out of. SEAT Leon Cross Sport will debut at the upcoming IAA Motor Show where we will hopefully find out if it’s going to be produced or not.
